Attention!! Good afternoon Gentlemen, I am Lt. Col. David F. Rogers, and this is my biography and post military history.
I was on three (3) TDY tours in Vietnam. I was assigned as a pilot at the Khe Samh Combat Base from January 1971 – September 1971. In 1971, Khe Sanh was reactivated by the US Army (Operation Dewey Canyon II) to support Operation Lam Son 719, the South Vietnamese incursion into Laos.
I was on two (2) TDY’s to Thailand. Once as a KC-135 pilot and once as your Squadron Commander.
After I retired from the USAF, in September 1974, I returned to Flagstaff, AZ and began working for the State of Arizona as a Safety Officer for the Airzona State Compensation Fund.
It was wonderful serving with each one of you! Carry on gentlemen. Dismissed.
